MATHIAS WASIK
Mathias Wasik moved to New York from Berlin in 2015. He has worked as a street and documentary photographer for publications like National Geographic, BBC, VICE, NPR, and a variety of commercial and non-profit clients. His street photography offers a glimpse into the modern day life in New York City, exposing both the glossy surface and darker underbelly of American culture pulled to the fore, ultimately portraying a witty, affectionate depiction of a diverse and fast-paced city. Mathias is a board member of the NYC Street Photography Collective (NYC-SPC).
