ZACHARY CABANAS
Zachary Cabanas, a Jersey City based photographer. I began taking photography seriously after a life long flirtation (and one failed entry level college class) with the art in 2014 beginning with a clunky DSLR and half baked long exposure photos of the NYC river front. The results were, as expected, less than satisfying. It wasn’t until I responded to a post online from Jorge who was looking to form NYCSPC and I frantically googled street photos (as to avoid looking like a complete fool at our first meeting) that I found a genre of photography that really resonated with me. Since then I've worked hard to produce images that embodied the kinetic energy and cinematic qualities that I've come to associate with Street Photography.
