Jaclyn Licht took up street photography in 2017 while living in Providence, Rhode Island. Now a Brooklyn resident, she wanders the streets with her film cameras as a way to get to know the intricacies of the city and the characters that populate it. She works by day as the official photographer for the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, where she captures the day-to-day affairs of all those who strive to change the world through international diplomacy. Whether at work or on the street, she is drawn to subtle humor, spontaneous action, and the ability to connect with strangers through her lens.
